Greenwood July 25 The annual Boat Carolina Farmers Union gathering opened with State President C P Goodwin presiding as 21 counties represented. National President Barrett of Atlanta addressed the session, noting rapid membership growth and strong finances across state unions. Officers elected included O P Goodwin Laurea as president and J F Earle Anderson as secretary treasurer. Resolutions urged uniform bale wrapping and cotton marketing reforms, immigration caution, and labor loyalty pledges.
