For two years the Golden Flashes of Kent State University have repeatedly surged downfield and unsettled opponents, overturning odds and polls. Now they line up again against the Case Scientists in tonight’s matchup.
Kent State university announces a new broadcast link with Akron WADC as the radio workshop enters a second stage. A faculty series previously aired via WTAM will now be transmitted from Kent studios to WADC with a 7:30 to 8 p m Saturday round table and plans for student programs.

Arts College OKs Credit For Airmen The curriculum committee of the college of liberal arts authorized credit for two courses in civil aeronautics ground school work. The courses aeronautics 260 and 360 will be open to all students. No physical exam is required as the course entails no flying. Students may take the courses without CPT enrollment.
Frank Crofoot was chosen temporary president of the ministerial honorary fraternity formed on the campus at a meeting in Kent hall yesterday. Francis Banyai was named secretary Meade Letts chairman of arms committee and Paul Acker chairman of the constitution committee.
A near capacity crowd filled Merrill hall room 102 as the Independent party held its first meeting. President Kenneth Davis explained the constitution and announced another meeting Monday to decide the homecoming queen candidate and nominate class officers.

Kim returns from illness to coach the Flash gridiron squad as they face tonight's opponent. The team relies on his leadership and tactical guidance after a recent recovery period.
Plans for an expanded course in electrical weldings were revealed by Prof. C S Van Deusen head of the University industrial arts department. The course was delayed due to equipment shortages and will be offered next semester with the advanced gas welding course. The primary class in gas welding counts 42 members drawn from Twin Coach Co Black and Decker and Akron industries.
Mrs. Paul Geiger, longtime housemother at the Wesley Girls' Co op and Tri Sig housemother for two years, was taken suddenly ill yesterday morning. She is under care by Dr. Elizabeth Leggett, University physician.
