A committee to draft the constitution for a new ministerial honorary fraternity will be chosen at the first meeting at 3 PM in room 112 Kent hall. The aims of the fraternity will be discussed and students entering the ministry are urged to attend.
Dr. John L. Blair at Moulton hall told the Elementary Education club that Blair College changes from a two year to a four year course raise demand for elementary teachers. He noted this year is the last for a three year student to obtain a teaching certificate.
Director Roy D. Metcalf pilots an 80 member Kent State band with new faces and specialties. The group will perform October 18 against West Liberty Teachers and a 12 minute set October 25 at the Reserve game, featuring a cat head with a black eye formation.
Kent State faces Case in a pivotal Friday contest as assistants Sidinger and Evans spoke to 900 students at the second all University pep rally. The event featured band music, cheers led by Ralph Braden, and a finale with drum majorettes and specialty acts.
