Fraternities Set Rush Dates for Campus Freshmen
Inter fraternity council sets rush dates with Phi Beta Phi and Sigma Tau Gamma. Open smokers scheduled October 16 and October 18 at 7:30 to 10 pm. Invitations for closed smokers issued in late October. Bids go to freshmen on November 12 with a 2.0 fall quarter average condition. 15 credit hours places a student as second quarter.

UT Resumes Full Schedule With Four Plays Each Year
The University Theatre plans a four play annual slate resumed after 1930 42 with associate UT director G Harry Wright returning by January 2 1946 and Wright to direct one of the spring shows. E Turner Stump leads first show in mid November with Opal Wigner Boffo producing one of the two spring entries and Stump the other. Meetings today at 4 pm seek student assignments and Wright plans to teach in winter quarter after buying a Kent home. Invitations go to area high schools for a regional one act festival in April and Stump is invited to speak before the National Association of Teachers of Speech in Columbus in December. The department head will also discuss college shows for high school audiences and a potential tour of northeastern Ohio schools.

Music Department Plans Active Year With Choral Groups

Marian Miller and her ten piece orchestra will headline the fresh upperclass dance Friday night October 12 in Wills gymnasium from 9 to 12.
