Publications Group Makes Nomination
The University publications committee voted to renew Warren Gerber as business manager of the Kent States for six weeks beyond the first quarter. Earl Vacariu remains editor of the Stater for 18 weeks. Applications for editor and business manager will be sought February 12, with John Eckels recommended as a faculty member of the committee.

Miss Bertha Sill, a former Kent State student and DePeyster fourth grade teacher, won $285 after submitting a biographical sketch of Abraham Lincoln to the Dr. I Q program on CBS Blue Network. University dining halls will operate at normal hours except for the evening meal from five to five thirty. They close Thursday through Sunday for Thanksgiving and reopen for breakfast Monday morning. Engleman and Lowry halls close at six today for the holiday. Moulton hall will accommodate students staying on campus.
