Dramatic Clinic Tickets Go On Sale Friday
Prof. E Turner Stump announced tickets for the sixth annual dramatic clinic will go on sale Friday afternoon at the auditorium entrance. individual show tickets are 15 cents, three plays per show, or 50 cents for an all-show pass at the speech office. The opening program features Kent University theater performing Abe Lincoln in Illinois, followed by two high school one act plays and more three-play groups through Friday evening and Saturday. Firefighters battled a blaze at 7 02 p m in Ravenna injuring the Evening Record and Courier-Tribune plant. Two trucks and hook and ladder equipment fought the flames damaging a rotary press and five linotype machines. Front offices suffered heavy smoke damage. owners and fire chief would not estimate losses or confirm the fire’s cause.
