Kent Professors Evaluate Mansfield High School Visit
Dr A W Stewart head of Kent division of secondary education and Miss H W Machan will join in a three day evaluation of Mansfield senior high school using Evaluative Criteria. The Kent team includes Professors Stewart and Machan with guests from Bowling Green and Ohio State University along with many visiting superintendents and principals. A graduate course on evaluative criteria was offered last summer and will be repeated next semester for graduates, principals and superintendents.

State Schools Report Ohio Enrollment Up 6366 This Fall
Enrollment across Ohio’s 48 colleges and universities rose by 6366 students this fall, per the Association of Ohio Registrars. Kent State University added 136 to reach 2701, while Ohio State declined 208 to 13010. Fenn College posted the largest percentage gain at 10.9 percent, Akron University up 10.5 percent. Other enrollments: Cincinnati 10698, Western Reserve 3346, Ohio 3495, Miami 3280, Toledo 3112. Kent State’s full-year enrollment last year was 2809 with 2565 in the first semester.
