The Golden Flashes and coach G. D. Rosy Starn will receive a 16 by 20 inch wooden victory plaque at a 2 p.m. Friday assembly. The Industrial Arts and Art departments craft the plaque listing team members with an asterisk for those who played Saturday. It will be hung over the Wills gym entrance, Charley Ayres to introduce the team and Roy Apple to present.
Elizabeth Suru and Margaret Lewis of Alpha Omega sorority are chosen as Pigskin Prom queen candidates. The prom, Friday November 20, is run by the university social committee with Bo Dutton and Bob Hein as co chairmen. The queen's name will be kept secret until the dance night.
Dorothy Roessel, publicity chairman of Panhellenic council, says University women may join open rushing by paying a one dollar fee in the atrium during the week.
Student housing committee chaired by Earl Vacaria will meet today at 4 p m in room 116 Merrill hall. The announcement was made yesterday.
Members of the New man club reschedule from Tuesday to Thursday at 7 30 p m at St Patrick's school. The change shifts the meeting time and keeps the venue unchanged.

Final draft of the proposed new student constitution will be heard Wednesday by Student Council at 4 p.m. in room 204 Merrill hall. Minor revisions are under way before presentation to the student body for approval. Plans aim to enable every student to vote with a 50 percent quorum. Efforts are ongoing to acquaint students with the new government proposal.
A YMCA convocation tonight at 7 in Kent Hall 219 features a panel on the student’s place in the war. Members include Bob Schultheis John Proctor Ernst Vogel and Joe Hart with Frank Crowfoot noting ISS designated November 17 to honor Czech students slain in 1939 by Germans.
Nick Carter welcomed a son named Victor Michael Carter after Kent State’s 23 6 win over Akron that ended a 14 year jinx and fulfilled coach Rosy Starn’s condition. The baby arrived at 9 15 am as plans shifted to celebrate the victory and future prospects for Carter.
The football used in Kent State's first win over Akron will be raffled to a Penny drive contributor. Kappa Mu Kappa will collect names of students donating a dime or more this Thursday. At the Pigskin Prom on Friday November 20 the queen will draw a winner from the box.
