California Congresswoman Helen Gahagan Douglas will discuss Peace the Price We Must Pay before a student assembly tomorrow at 2 p m in the auditorium. The former actress and Barnard alumna rose from Broadway to politics, joining the House in 1944 and serving California's 14th district. her husband Melvin Douglas is an actor and their children are a son and a daughter. Douglas is presently with the armed forces in Burma.
