Scholarship Exams Not Held At Kent State
The University will not host about 1600 high school students for state scholarship tests next spring. F N Harsh administrator says exams will be held at the students' own schools and sent to Columbus for grading to conserve rubber and gasoline.

Flyers Strike Over Dinner Dress at University Hall
About a dozen civilian pilot trainees staged a one hour sit in at Lowry hall dining room after being denied meals for not wearing jackets. CPT members wore regular clothes instead of V 5 uniforms, citing warmer needs and summer uniforms. Mrs Fellers insisted waiters jackets could be borrowed but were refused.
