Lt Enos Vaughan a university graduate serves with the Signal Corps in Manila acting as radio teletype circuit control duty officer. He has been overseas since November 1944 and previously served at Hollandia New Guinea and on Luzon. He holds the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with two campaign stars and the Philippines liberation ribbon. Before his 1943 commission he taught in Springfield township public school.

Don Moore the newly elected president appointed three committees at the first senior class organizational meeting. Alice Best leads the social committee with Cay Bamberger and Luzerne Richards as assistants. Norma Knisely heads the class memorial committee with Betty Offhaus and Mirjam Laukkonen aiding. John Tilton chairs the price and rings or pins selection group, aided by Lu Heck and Betty Fouse. Dues are set at two dollars yearly or seventy five cents per quarter to fund the senior dance and university gift.
