ROTC Leaders to Attend Armistice Ball in Akron

Several staff members from KSU ROTC and Air ROTC will attend the Armistice Day ball on Saturday November 10 at the Reserve Officer's Association club rooms in Akron. Attendees include Colonel Frank C. Mandell Captain James P. Robinson Major Neal and Colonel Workman. The General Dick chapter ROTC dance is sponsored by the Reserve Officers Association.

A full page picture of Kent State appears in the American Campus Calendar a national pictorial annual now at the University bookstore. The desk calendar lists about 30 colleges including Dartmouth Michigan Duke Georgia Tech Smith Notre Dame and Princeton with brief descriptions and photographs. Copies sell on college campuses for 1 each with Kent one of two Ohio colleges represented.

Kent State University is the second largest in Ohio per a 1951 fall enrollment survey. Enrollment figures show Ohio State leading with 18 415, Kent 5 036, Miami 4 803, Ohio University 4 477, and Bowling Green 3 442.
