Set Voting Procedure for Freshman to Senior Class Candidates

Voters must present activity ID or alternative ID at three booths Merrill hall A to G Atrium H to Q Kent hall R to Z. Names checked against Registrar master list. Each sentence outlines candidate lists by class and office with party or group tags. See page two for a sample ballot and full voting procedure.

Senior photos extended deadline for Chestnut Burr

The deadline for senior pictures in the Chestnut Burr has been extended to next Tuesday November 6 1951. So far 524 seniors have had portraits taken at Swartout's studio on Main Street. Seniors must schedule their own appointments and no photos will be taken after the new date.

56 Fined In Traffic Court

Out of 59 summons issued to students by the university traffic court secretary, three were found not guilty. Five cases were contested two by letter and three in person. Of the two by letter one was not guilty. of the three in person two were not guilty. A $1 fine is charged for the first parking offense $2 for the second and $5 for any further violations or reckless driving. Allen Boston urges students to contest summons and go to court if valid.

Winter Grads File For Work Canton Niles Postmen

College men seeking winter employment in Canton and Niles as postmen from December 15 to 24 are instructed to see Dr. Munzenmayer in the appointments office. Additional part time jobs are available during Christmas vacation and seniors graduating in December should register for full time placement by early November with interviews starting November 6 for business administration and education, plus opportunities for liberal arts.

Students Prepare For Trip To BG Homecoming Game

A campus survey shows over 200 Kent State students plan to travel to Bowling Green State University for Bee Gee Homecoming tomorrow. Last year Bee Gee delegation visited KSU for the Homecoming at the invitation of KSU council president Bill D' Alexander. The highlight was the presentation of the Painted Pig.

The annual Homecoming production presents Born Yesterday with Marcia Hill as Billie Dawn and Dick Johnson as Harry Brock. Cast also includes Paul Verrall played by F Edward Harris and a large ensemble. Set designed by Prof G Harry Wright, with Michael Dubetz and Joan Leguillon as staff. Brazilian Dance Group Visits Ohio for One-Night Concert

A 14 member all girl dance group from Brazil’s National School of Physical Education and Sports performs in the MPE building Wednesday at 8 p.m. under Senora de Sa Earp and Seno Rita Dora da Costa Ribeiro. Admission is 50 cents. The troupe tours 14 states before returning to Brazil on December 6.

Lieutenant Richard Cope Korean War casualty remembered

Richard Allan Cope a 1940s dune graduate died October 5 at Heartbreak Ridge Korea while serving as a 1st Lieutenant with the 9th Infantry, 2nd Division. Born November 14 1925 he attended George Washington High School New York City and Kent ROTC. He previously served two and a half years with the 78th Infantry during World War II.
