Five Years Of Teaching To Lead Kent State Graduate School
Dr. Raymond M. Clark named to newly created dean post at Kent State after serving as graduate school director since 1947. He began teaching at 18 in a rural Ohio schoolhouse, earned degrees from Ohio University and Columbia, taught at Chilliothe High, Campbell High, and joined KSU in 1926. He later served as acting president 1943-44 and became full professor in 1944. Now dean, he still teaches one psychology class and gardens at home with his wife and two sons William and Robert, both graduates pursuing law and engineering. He participates in Kent Rotary and Congregational church life.
