May Queen Finalists Named for Campus Day Festivities

Eleven finalists and two alternates were chosen from 72 entrants in the May queen competition. Final queen and two attendants to be announced at the presentation tomorrow. Floats judged noon to 2 30, campus events on Wilson and front/back campus drives, Longfest at Merrill Hall lawn, and a campus day dance at Will gym with Ray McKinley. Motion includes 12 30 permits and 50 cent admission per couple.

Prom Features Ray Anthony Junior Queen

Ray Anthony’s Music in Action will play from 8 30 p m to 10 a m Monday at the Junior Senior prom in the moonlight ballroom at Meyers Lake Canton Weather permitting. University women obtain 230 a m permits. The queen and two attendants will be announced during intermission.

The seating chart shows sororities Alpha Gamma Delta Alpha Phi Alpha Xi Delta in various sections and rows across balconies and halls. On the main floor fraternities Theta Kappa Phi Sigma Nu Phi Beta Phi and clubs receive specific section and row assignments. Banquet Reservations Set for 150 at Women’s League Event

Banquet chairman Marjorie Ennes says responses after May 22 cannot be accepted and reservations are fixed at 150. Regina E. Hanway, English professor, will speak on Looking Toward the Future at the annual Women’s League banquet in the Union dining room on Wednesday May 31.

All students interested in working on the 1951 Burr must meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in 102M. Several spring quarter assignments will be issued and a few remaining staff positions filled. This is the last staff meeting of the year.

Final Swim Tests Today for Rowboat Regatta Applicants

The university pool is open 4 to 6 p.m. for late entrants to complete required swimming tests. Prospective rowers must swim the pool length twice and tread water for two minutes. names must be given to the lifeguard before testing.

Miss Eleanor Pudil and Prof. Harold Miles will perform a joint music recital at 8 30 p m in the university auditorium on Wednesday May 31 The program features Schumann's Woman s Life and Love and Miles memorial cantata with words by Wolfe The cantata written during the war has been performed in New York Rochester and Cleveland Woman s Life and Love debuts at this concert
