Colvin To Give Music Recital
Claude Colvin, graduate student in the School of Speech, presents a graduate recital at 8 15 p m tomorrow in the Union ballroom. Open to the public the program centers on the oral interpretation of Gerard Manley Hopkins poetry with Bach and Hindemith pieces performed by Jack Castle. Prof Earle E Curtis directed Colvin choral and dramatic studies as an undergraduate he directed many one act plays and plans to teach poetry and drama after his September master’s degree.

Deadline for Tenth Annual Rowboat Regatta Entries
Today is the cutoff for entries with a $5 fee to participate in the Tenth Annual Rowboat Regatta. Queen entries are due as well and any campus group can sponsor a queen. Swimming tests for all rowers and the alternate are set for today Thursday and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the university pool. Judges for the queen contest are Paul C. Kitchin Jr Ralph S. Kaczor and Robert Morrow.

Invitations to the Men's union sponsored senior banquet will go out this week. Recipients must return applications by Friday to a box in the Atrium near the registrar's office. Traditions committee amends stalled by Student Council
The Student Council again failed to act on the Traditions committee amendment to the constitution, tabling it for the fourth straight meeting. A Forum committee proposal to place its $400 surplus in the general fund was approved. New members joined several committees as appointments and elections were held.
