Tenth Annual Rowboat Regatta Entry Requirements
Tomorrow is the deadline for entries. Organizations must pay $5. Swimming tests run tomorrow to Friday 4 6 p.m. at the university pool with lifeguards. Each rider must provide name and organization. Two representatives per organization chosen, alternates available. Queen entry due tomorrow with white shorts and Regatta T shirts. Events at Sandy Lake on June 8 include water ballet and other campus activities.

Scholarship Offered for Jay H. Maish Grant
Applications must be submitted by Monday May 29 for the Jay H Maish scholarship. It assists juniors or seniors in journalism advertising photography or commercial art and includes a cash stipend with the registration fee. Six Nominated For Jr-Sr Prom Queen Deadline Today

Burr vouchers may be obtained at a table in the Kent hall entrance between 9 am and 5 pm. Seniors with three quarters completed need a spring activities card. Burrs can also be picked up at the Burr office in the old Hub.

Driving Tests End Tomorrow
Driving aptitude and skill will be tested today and tomorrow by the driver training class of the industrial arts department. Anyone may take the A.A.A. approved tests from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in 101-102M. A road test in a special car will also be given. Directed by Prof. Andrew Paton, of the Industrial Arts department, the clinic will give eight laboratory tests plus the road test to determine the skill and mental attitude of the driver.

Balloting to end tomorrow for author’s outstanding contributor
The ballot closes tomorrow for the Author’s prize. The winner will be announced Friday and receive a medal from the English department sponsor of the magazine. The book remains obtainable in the English office at 206M indefinitely.
TKs Join Phi Sigs On Sunday
Forty four Tau Kappa members were installed as the Beta Tetarton chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa last Saturday and Sunday. Six faculty and the head librarian were also initiated including Hallock F. Raup and Dr. James E. Fleming. The program opened with sequestration Friday night and continued with ceremonies Saturday at 8 am, a banquet, and a Sunday meeting led by Phi Sigma Kappa president Herbert L. Brown. officers named include George Hettinger president and John Growley vice president.

Riflemen Cup First Place at Pershing Rifles Drill
Members of the KSU Pershing Rifles won the first place team trophy at the Pershing Rifles drill held at the University of Kentucky on Saturday May 20. Donald Brail earned the highest individual rifle score, while Master Sergeant Andrew Roney received the coach's trophy for the top team. Medalists included Emil Koval Clark Kreiter Richard Wright Kenneth Riedel and Brail. Koval placed second individually for Kent, Ohio State swept first and third, and Kent finished fourth in overall company points behind Ohio State Kentucky and Ohio U.
