Queen Call Unanswered For Rowboat Regatta

Senior Recital for Martha Lansinger Tonight

The university school of music presents Martha Lansinger a cellist in a senior recital at 8 15 this evening in 309M Miss Lansinger a Kent resident active on campus will graduate from the college of education next month Her program accompanies by Robert Smith at the piano includes the Brahms E minor sonata Hindemith suites Handel concerto and Bach sarabande The recital is open to the public without charge.

Senior Week Schedule Announced by Dr. Chapman

Dr Troup to Address IVCF Meeting Tonight

Dr William E Troup will be guest speaker at the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship gathering at 7 30 p m in 115K. He has just returned from Africa filming missionary work and will show several thousand feet of moving pictures. The program welcomes all university students and faculty.

Swimming tests set for Regatta rowers at university pool

Final swimming assessments for Regatta participants occur today 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday 4 to 5 p.m. and Thursday 4 to 5 p.m. All entrants must test. Organizations entering Regatta should pay the $10 fee to cover boat rental costs.

Reduced Rates For Hamlet Screenings At Schine Kent

Sir Laurence Olivier's Hamlet will screen at Schine's Kent theater June 1 and 2 with discounted student tickets. KSU students pay 1 dollar with coupons from Prof. Stump or Prof. Satterfield, plus student ID. general admission ranges 1.20 to 2.40 dollars. Four performances, all seats reserved, two showings daily at 2:30 and 8:30. A student may bring a nonstudent date with two coupons.

Flight Club To Meet At University Airport

The first university flight meet, cancelled last week, is rescheduled for tomorrow at 5 30 p m at the university airport. Adviser Andrew Paton said the Flying Club will host the event.

Seating Plan for Honors Day Sets Sorority Upstairs Fraternity Down

Seating for the Scholarship day assembly at the university auditorium tomorrow 11 a.m. was announced by Thomas M. H. Blair professor of English. Sororities sit upstairs fraternities downstairs seats held until 10 55 a.m. Dean Robert I. White speaks on Scholarship and Democratic Society. Butler cited for 4.0 average along with one other student. Elizabeth Steve will present the Women’s Panhellenic Scholarship Cup to the top sorority. Numerous awards listed across Greek groups with specific seat assignments outlined for balcony and main floor.

SAM To Hear Yezbak Tonight At Spring Banquet

John Yezbak Timken public relations manager will speak at the Society for the Advancement of Management spring banquet tonight at 7 30 at the Smorgasbord Stow. He is a 1933 NYU graduate and former Barnsboro Star editor. A June 4 student conference on campus runs 9 30 to 2 30 with luncheon at noon. The $1 25 fee covers the day. French Plays Tonight by Le Cercle Francais and Guests

The sixth grade French students from the university school join Le Cercle Francais for a program of short plays at 8 p m in the university school auditorium. Guests include students from KSU Canton and Akron University. Two pieces are La Farce du Cuvier and L Anglais tel Qu on le Parle.
