William A. Pliskin a senior in the college of education earns a teaching fellowship in physics at Ohio University Athens. He has a 3.76 average over four years at KSU and participates in Kappa Delta Pi Mathematics club and the Physical Science club. He begins duties in September when the Athens school convenes.

Musical Program Postponed May 29 at Training School
Donald Wafler baritone will sing a postponed program on Thursday May 29 at 8 15 p m in the training school auditorium. David Kempple sophomore violinist Alan Cope and Jeanne Roberts will be piano accompanists. Wafler a Kent Christian Science church soloist and North Central college graduate will perform works by Wagner Schubert Schumann and Verdi. Kempple will play Beethoven Romance in F Major Opus 40.

Florence Campbell Harper 48 dies of a heart attack believed worsened by grief over her son Richard Harper 22 killed last Sunday when an automobile he was repairing slipped from a jack in his garage in this city. Leslie Harper grieves as two close losses unfold. Richard was a senior in the College of Business Administration at KSU.

W. Woodland Dunlap a Kent State alumnus is in basic training in the anti aircraft Search light Division at Camp Davis. He earned a B S in education in 1938 and an M A in social science in 1940 and belonged to Alpha Psi Omega Pi Kappa Delta and Kappa Delta Pi societies.
