An all university election on May 25 will select a Junior Senior Prom queen with eligibility for junior girls who meet a grade. Applications due May 22 to Paul C Kitchen Jr in political science. Queen and attendants will be announced May 29 with trophies. Ray Anthony orchestra will headline at Meyers Lake Canton from 9 p m to 1 am in moonlight ballroom weather permitting. semi formal dress. tickets $1, juniors with class cards free. 2 30 permits for women.

Rowboat Regatta Entries Due May 24
Applications to enter the Rowboat regatta must be turned in to Carol Hart Kent Stater editor by Wednesday May 24. Entrants need not have boats yet and a $5 fee is due with the application. Thirty seven students from the art speech industrial arts home economics and photography departments won prizes at the first annual Arts festival ending May 14. Nancy Pfeil won first in watercolor for Back Porch. W D Southall won second for three entries. The Fat Man by Dan Hodermarsky took third. Charles Laird won first in drawing with 2 and 8. Albert Lobo took second for James. Patricia Knott won third for Ten Year Old. Helen Meyers won first in oil Street Scene. Lobo took second for Circus Going Up and Little Italy. Armageddon by Anne Van Ebsenschoten earned third. In crafts Meyers won first for textile work. Speech department prizes went to Richard Roberts and William Olliven. Fraternity row house design prizes were awarded to Cordell Glaus and Richard Nelson first. Everett Haag and Betty Crago second. Loren Ash and Charles Laird third. Home economics firsts went to Pegge Cerull and Barbara Gill in table setting. Laura Pernice and Dorothy Lee Jones second. Nancy Heckman first in flower arrangement. Pat Miller second. MU Postpones Chimes Drive
The MU chimes fund drive for students is postponed until next fall due to many activities this quarter. Alumni and townspeople will be contacted to begin the drive by fall, chaired by Jerry McFadden. Record albums of school songs will still be sold during the remainder of spring quarter.

Trophies Presented At Banquet Honor Kent States Journalists
John Koshar named Newspapermen's Newspaperman at the Publications Policy Committee banquet held at the Mayflower hotel in Akron. The Kent States chapter awards included the first American Newspaper Guild trophy plus six other prizes to Art Garner Jim Smith Les Clark Carol Crites Bill Samaras and keys awarded to Burr and Stater staff members.
