Phi Sigma Kappa to Install Beta Teteron Chapter at Ohio Campus
Tau Kappa will join Phi Sigma Kappa as the Beta Teteron chapter during the May weekend. Initiation teams come from Ohio State and Akron with 28 actives and 15 pledges attending pre initiation. A banquet with national president Herbert L. Brown and a reception follow the installation weekend events.

Moonmaids in Benefit Concert For Student Loan Fund
Vaughn Monroe and his orchestra and Moonmaids troupe headline a two and a half hour benefit show in Wills gym Monday night. Theta Kappa Phi sponsors with all proceeds supporting the university student loan fund for books tuition lab fees and room and board. Story of the Life of Jesus Presented Sunday
The School of Music will stage Bach’s St Matthew Passion Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the auditorium as the Arts festival finale. University choirs, student soloists and the University Civic Orchestra, directed by Caro Carapetyan, perform the musical Gospel narrative with chorales and solos illustrating the passion. The oratorio debuted in 1729 Leipzig and was revived in 1829 by Mendelssohn.

UNESCO Meet Here Third Annual Conference on UNESCO
The third annual Conference on UNESCO will be held Saturday June 24 from 9 30 a m to 6 30 p m. Akron university Oberlin college Western Reserve university Kent State university and the Cleveland Council on World Affairs with the U S National Committee for UNESCO sponsor the event.
