May Queen Coronation Highlighted For Tonight’s Parade
The Ceremony Organization invites attendance at the coronation of the May Queen in a parade night event. A brief interlude allows final instructions between lawn festivities and the parade start.

A mile long parade will feature 17 campus organizations led by the May Queen and attendants during the 16th annual campus night. Trophies for originality will be awarded, with contingencies for weather and a backup indoor program at Wills gymnasium.
Defense Class Funds Cut At State Universities
The University defense class program faced a temporary halt after the Senate House conference committee trimmed a 450000 increase in the state universities building appropriation. President K C Leebrick said 65000 of the cut hit Kent and the fund was needed for building repairs and equipment for national defense classes.

Burner and Kirk to Attend Sigma Delta Pi Meeting
Dr. Willis Burner head of the Spanish department and Mr. Charles F. Kirk Spanish instructor will attend the Ohio meeting of Sigma Delta Pi national Spanish honorary fraternity at Wooster tomorrow. Kirk returning to his alma mater will show slides and movies of his trip into Mexico last summer at one session. Both Turner and Kirk are members of Sigma Delta Pi.
