Seventeen Campus Groups Parade Friday Night for Campus Night
Seventeen campus organizations led by the May Queen will form a mile long parade Friday evening for the 16th annual Campus night. EKSA men’s band will follow the queen, with the girls’ band at the rear, as groups march from Main to Water to College streets and to the Training school then administration building. Cups will be awarded for best original themes, judged at the Courier-Tribune building.

Guisewite and Mouse Step Down From NTFC Leadership
Bill Guisewite and Stan Mouse, freshmen in 1940 who started the all student show No Time For Classes, announce they will relinquish NTFC driver’s seat for next year. They cite desire to allow others to produce the show, plans for dramatics careers, and wish to broaden active involvement in other university productions.

Kent Kiwanis and campus events fill Kent evening
Music instructor Bruce C. Handley will lead the a cappella choir for the Kent Kiwanis meeting. A vocal trio Mildred Cukrow Clara Biasella and Clarice Wise will perform. English professor Walter L. Simmons spoke to the Kent Travelers on The Contribution of the New Southern Writers of American Thought. Barbara Welton presented poems after winning the Ohio collegiate interpretive reading title. A 4 p.m. graduation planning meeting in Merrill Hall room 109 covered invitations and senior activities. Margery Minor, a business college sophomore, is improving after an appendectomy at People's Hospital Akron and is expected to be released around May 19.
