Louis B. Seltzer editor of the Scripps-Howard Ohio chain will address the campus unit of the American Newspaper Guild. All journalism department members or interested persons may attend in 101M at 7 30 tomorrow night. Seltzer began as an office boy in 1911 in Cleveland and has led the chain since 1937.

Kent State students showcase art as stadium drive aims
A display of oils watercolors graphic art and crafts from Kent State University students and alumni fills the second floor hall between Kent and Merrill. Prizes went to Suzanne Fletcher and Glenn L McFarland with other works by Joseph Colonese Wesley Horner and Dimm Kruster. The student committee plans a personal drive contacting nonpledging students to reach a $50 000 goal, with a meeting set for Thursday at 4 in 210K.

Inter-American Workshop in Spanish At Kent Hall
The university hosts a week long workshop for teachers and students of Spanish from June 21 to 26. It covers pronunciation culture Argentine literature and teaching methods with five courses earning one and a half quarter hours credit. Participation requires social activities and a five dollar registration. Reservations open June 21 in Kent Hall 308 from 9 to 12 and 1 to 4.

Campus Night Activities Approved by Student Council
Student Council met for twenty minutes and approved social committee plans for Campus Night activities. It received a letter from Varsity Athletics offering to donate one percent of its funds to the aero nautical division of the industrial arts department. Two weeks earlier the flying group was added to the allocators, bringing Varsity Athletics to 29 percent of total allocated funds. Newly elected council members were asked to attend next week’s meeting.

Kent Elks club presents an old time minstrel and amateur show to benefit the stadium drive. Auditions for the amateur phase directed by Charles R.
