Regatta Day Entries Due Tomorrow
The 12th annual Rowboat Regatta opens with early entries from Chi Omega Alpha Xi Delta and Delta Gamma. Deadline is 5 p.m. tomorrow for all organizations to submit entry blanks listing organization name rowers and queen contestants. Preliminary queen judging set for May 20 at 7 p.m. in Moulton Music room. Twelve girls will be chosen with swimsuit and tshirt attire for Regatta day. Swimming tests required for rower eligibility. times to be announced next Tuesday.

Grad Recital Tonight Features Handel Brahms Wolf and Debussy
Evelyn Kolesar, a 21 year old Youngstown soprano, presents her graduation recital in the Union ballroom at 8 15 tonight. She will perform works by Handel Brahms Wolf and Debussy and also sing Song of the Whole Land by Harold Miles. Raymond de Mattia provides flute with Gene Hartzell at the piano. She previously soloed in the 1949 and 1951 Messiah productions and won the 1948 Youngstown Music Teachers Association scholarship.

Stockdale Wins Portage County Sheriff Nomination
Robert E. Stockdale, professor in speech at KSU, won the Republican nomination for Portage County sheriff in a landslide with 3828 votes. He outpaced ex-deputy Ross Dustman by 2361 ballots while Democratic incumbent Roy F. Garrett edged rival Rohan Fitzgerald by 18 votes for the fall contest. Stockdale, 35, resident of Portage County 28 years, lives at Twin Lakes with two children and is a Ravenna City High and KSU graduate working toward a PhD at Western Reserve.

New Home Economics Courses Offered for Summer Term
Prof. Alice H. Haley announces graduate work in home economics for the first summer term of 1952 from June 16 to July 24. Courses include Advanced Clothing Problems, Experimental Cookery, and Analysis and Evaluation of Home Economics Programs to cover administrative, food, and clothing aspects.
