Campus Night on May 24 begins at 1 pm with K Girl ceremony and song fest, floats must be in by 6:30 pm for judging on workmanship and staging. High School Journalists Clinic Draws 600 Attendees

More than 600 high school journalists are expected at KSU's Northeastern Ohio Scholastic Press clinic. The event features a staged catastrophe, police and fire department cooperation, a post show dance, and multiple awards including the Dix Cup for best write up and cups for top newspapers.

Quintet To Play Social Dancing Tonight

Social dancing tonight from 8 to 10 will be to the music of Jack Ward's Quintet with Jean Renard as featured vocalist. Admission is fifteen cents and activity card.

Russian Film Shown Here Alexander Nevsky at 317 McG

The Russian film Alexander Nevsky opened yesterday at 4 p.m. in 317McG drawing a sizable crowd. It tells Russia's victory over Teutons at Lake Peipus in 1242 led by Prince Nevsky after Pskov was burned. The showing is sponsored by the foreign language department and repeats tomorrow at 7 p.m. in 317McG.

Regatta Queen Hour Changed for Kent State Event

Open to all university women with 2 point average or better, the Kent Stater Rowboat Regatta Queen contest and four attendants will be held Thursday May 8 at 6 30 p.m in the auditorium. Contestants will appear in street clothes before the judging committee. Four fraternities and several independent groups have registered, including Delta Phi Sigma Kappa Mu, Alpha Epsilon, Alpha Phi Delta, Beta Gamma, Eagleman hall, and WAA. The end of swimming exams will be announced Friday.

Amner To Speak At Central States Language Meet

Dr. E. Dewey Amner head of foreign languages will headline a discussion panel at the Central States Modern Language Teachers association convention in Columbus on Friday and Saturday. Other attendees include Helen Machan Ernest E Stowell and John R Hipple all faculty in foreign languages.

Presidents of organizations and honoraries are urged to attend or send a representative to a central committee of clubs and honoraries meeting at 3 p m in the student council office. Bob Casey acting chairman says the session reviews the Fourth Estate constitution and journalism student body organization to prepare for next week’s granting of an allocating agent. Additional new groups may send delegates and new constitutions will be reviewed.
