Sharks Club Presents Last Record Rendezvous

The Sharks Club stages Record Rendezvous with Stardust opening the Aqua Antics show. The third performance is tonight at 8 15 in the pool with 50 cent tickets from club members. Notable acts include Look for a Silver Lining by Pat Maglione and Lorie Postlethwaite and a water curtain add-on for Mood Indigo and Blue Champagne.

Grads Vie For Dean's Award

This year's outstanding male graduate will receive the Manchester cup at the Senior Men's banquet in the Union on June 6. Donated by Dean of Men Ray mond E Manchester, the cup will be engraved and kept in the dean's office. The Men's union will present a replica and certificate. Applications available after May 9. deadline May 19. Deans Manchester, White, Spicer and Allyn will screen entries.

University A Cappella Choir on WGAR Tonight

The university choir under Prof. Caro Carapetyan will perform eight sacred numbers on WGAR Cleveland at 9 30 p.m. tonight. The members will sing a cappella and voice the program's sacred music selections.

Festival Finale Features OSU Educator Dr Harlan Hatcher

Ohio State University vice president Dr Harlan Hatcher will speak at 10 a.m. Friday May 12 in the auditorium on the place of liberal arts in a liberal education. The speech closes the Arts festival and classes are dismissed for the event.

Graduate Council Okays New Master of Education Degree

The Graduate Council approved a Master of Education degree as an alternative to the Master of Arts in education. The program, open to primary and secondary educators, requires 48 graduate credits and a year of teaching experience. The proposal moves to the University Board of Trustees for final action.

Geography field trip through Ontario and Quebec begins June 19

Ten undergraduate and graduate geography students from this college and Oberlin College will travel six weeks through Ontario and Quebec led by James R. Beck. They will camp, cook, and study regional industries in Chatham North Bay Sturgeon Falls Sudbury Iroquois Falls Moosenee and Noranda Rouyn.

Local SAM to Host Second Annual Conference Tomorrow

The local chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management will hold its second annual one day conference. Two morning talks include American Expansion Policies Abroad by Charles Ewald of Cleveland and Business Prospects by G MacGowan of Firestone. luncheon speaker is Charles R. Schubert of Factory Management and Maintenance on The Future and You. Afternoon sessions cover five topics with speakers Harold J. Young Orin C. Rogers Don L. Newton and Robert C. Sampson. Felix Weil chairs the program.

Stag Or Drag Dance Set On Terrace At Stopher Hall

Stopher hall hosts the first stag or drag spring dance on the terrace tonight from 8 30 to 11 30 p m unless bad weather. Bob Liptak announces escorts for women and music from newly purchased records. Future events include Hard Times Terrace dance on May 13 and Spring formal on June 2.
