SC Seats Officers Overrules Protest

Kent Fliers to Attend National Intercollegiate Meet
Five men from the university flying squad were picked to attend the National Intercollegiate Air meet at Stephens College this weekend. They will compete for precision flying and navigation trophies under coach William C. Lowry. Team members are John Lilley, William Anderson, William Huebner, Webb Crum, and William Heintz who also serves as team manager and contestant. Lilley and Anderson return for a second contest after last year’s third place at Kalazampo, Michigan.

Library Holds 6th Symposium
The fifth annual library symposium will be held here by the university library on May 12. The main topic is The Public Library Inquiry. Rowboat Regatta Set for June At New Location
A column proclaims the Stater's ten year Rowboat Regatta to be held on Saturday June 3 at a new site to be announced. Open to any group with two movers and ten dollars, the event will include a water show, diving act, beauty contest twist, in-between race gimmicks, a picnic and possible dance.

Chestnut Burr 1950 Distribution Details
The 1950 Chestnut Burr will be distributed starting May 17 with Alpha Phi Omega handling vouchers from the Burr office to spring activity card holders. Distribution runs May 8 to May 12 at a table near the atrium for students who attended the university in fall, winter, and spring. The 288 page book features over 1800 pictures and 2500 names, with 74 students contributing and a production cost of $20,000.
