Blue Key Carnival Sets 18 Booths at May Event
Eighteen campus organizations will run booths at the second Blue Key Carnival on May 15 in Wills gymnasium. An admission of 10 cents goes to the Penny Drive. Miss Penny Drive is Lila Sprague selected by Men’s Union from the College of Education after 4837 votes in December election that raised 147.98 dollars.

Judges Name Campus Night Royalty and Court Members
Nine University women were chosen by three judges to reign over Campus Night on May 8 with one to be named May queen. The selected include Hope Byrne Virginia Dodd Florence Riehl Monetta Crookman Marge Dornbusch Jean Hungerford Lila Sprague Rose Christ and Priscilla Jeffs. Court members and the queen’s identity will be revealed during Campus Night. Alf Bottomley and his orchestra will play for the dance in Will gymnasium with North Zink directing the orchestra.

Students vote on new constitution and council posts
The student body votes Thursday May 13 on the proposed constitution with a 526 vote majority needed. If approved, officer ballots run on the same ballot with four officer posts from current holders Peg Curry Marguerite Cook Jane McDowell and Gloria Cinciola to seek reelection as petitions demand 105 signatures. If rejected, officer ballots are discarded and class representatives are chosen on separate ballots with top four per class seated only if the constitution passes.

Journalism Honorary Buys War Bond For Campus Drive
Lambda Phi the women’s journalism fraternity bought a 150 war bond today as part of the second war loan drive. Elvina Fish was instructed to invest the treasury, bonds due in 12 years. Chi Pi had already placed its treasury in bonds this semester and set a plan to turn unclaimed funds into a journalism scholarship if no similar men’s group exists at maturity.
