Students Must Re vote To Legalize Document

The final draft of the student constitution, approved by the faculty, returns to the Student Council for minor changes before a general student vote on May 13 to elect council officers and new members. The 18 month old document previously passed 97 percent in a December ballot and now awaits council approval and further student endorsement.

May Queen Eliminations Set for Tomorrow at Kent Hall

The University will identify its 1943 May Queen tomorrow at 1 30 p m in room 119 Kent hall with nine finalists chosen from 24 candidates by a committee including E Ladislav Novotny Capt William J Ackermann and William Harris. Flower girls from the Training school will also be selected and previous queen Betty Church of Sigma Sigma Sigma is noted.

Senior Day plans and future social event discussed

The senior class will meet Tuesday May 4 at 8 p m in room 119 Kent hall to discuss senior day arrangements and a future social event, per Art Durivage, president.

Poll ballots in student mail boxes accepted until late afternoon

Public opinion ballots placed in student mail boxes will be accepted until late this afternoon, according to chairmen Bob Schamel and Dick Weise. Few ballots have been received so far, but they say the results look promising.

KMKs Elect Jane Burge As 43 Queen

Jane Burge, sophomore in education, is elected KMK 1943 K girl. She will be escorted to the campus K south of the library for a trophy presentation by Bernie Harris and will paint the first stroke of the annual repainting of the large white K. Campus Night begins at 6 p.m.

Kent State Editors to Attend OCNA Convention

Four Kent State representatives will travel to Bowling Green for the Ohio College Newspaper Association convention over the weekend. Delegates include Frances B. Post-Season Comedy tryouts set by stock company

The non University Theatre post season comedy for aviation students will be tried out Monday under Mary Jane Bishop publicity agent. Carol Richards wrote the play and E Turner Stump directs though not a University Theatre production. Stock shares fund the show with eligibility limited to stock owners.

Sunday Concerts Begin for Aviation Students

Suzanne Schwartz announces a series of Sunday afternoon recorded classical music concerts for aviation students. The first program will be at 2 p m EWT in studio A, Radio workshop, Kent hall third floor, lasting one hour. Approved by the Office of War Activities. Open to aviation students and guests.
