Glenn Miller and his orchestra will serenade Kent State University on CBS program next Wednesday night, March 25. The broadcast is from 10 p.m. over CBS with WADC Akron as local outlet. Miller honors the university as host to the upcoming high school Class A basketball finals on March 28. Marion Hutton is featured singer. New Courses For 1942 Summer Sessions Planned
Dean Frew Musselman announced the 1942 summer session features include new education courses for graduation, required subjects for former teachers, and many freshman classes. The program enables June high school graduates to complete a degree in three years with a final three week term. New occupational therapy courses for rehabilitation and state conferences on reading and language arts will be held on campus. A spring 1942 entertainment program will accompany a forthcoming catalogue in early April.

Nine million men aged 20 to 44 listened as officials drew green capsules from the goldfish bowl to set the order for wartime drafts. Brig Gen Hershey announced the first call may not occur until early June, with induction in ratio to available registrants from older lists.
