Two Faculty Posts Filled at Adrian College
Professor Robert A. Harper of Ohio State University and Mrs. W L Snyder were appointed to the Adrian College faculty by the board of trustees on Friday. Harper will replace Harley O Preston in sociology and Snyder will teach handicraft with Adrian Van Wyen as defense coordinator. The board also said service members can regain unused scholarship funds after army release and lab fees for economic courses will be dropped after this semester.

English Bicycle Rescues Wild Bill Taylor’s Tires
University faculty member Professor William Taylor, chairman of the school of journalism, rode an English bicycle weighing 32 pounds to work to save tires and boost fitness as he serves as a U S navy reserve on call. Children laughed and pointed at his long overcoat as he pedaled through campus.

Ten Students To Represent KSU At Annual Band Festival
Ten University of Kansas State College students will join a 100 student festival band from 17 Ohio colleges for the ninth Ohio Intercollegiate Band festival at Oberlin College March 21 and 22. Roy D Metcalf directs the KSU delegation. Richard Goldman conducts the festival band. The KSU group performs March 22 on a Mutual Broadcasting System hook-up and later joins a concert at Finney Chapel. Women to discuss war time vocations at university
Informal discussion groups on The Defense Program and How It Will Affect You will be held Friday night and Saturday morning for all University women. Maxine Miller announces the annual conference sponsored by the Women's League to help women adapt courses to defense program changes. Mrs Gladys P Berenguer, Smith College alumna, will speak Friday night at Moulton Hall sharing Civil Service experience and ways women can aid the country and themselves. Trixie the terrier found after campus roaming
Trixie, a white terrier puppy belonging to Dr. R. B. Spacht’s family, returned home today after wandering the campus most of Sunday and Monday. Donna Payden sheltered the pup at The States office until Dr. Spacht and Mary Katherine reclaimed her yesterday evening.

Resolutions From Oberlin Conference on Postwar Peace
Copies of resolutions from the three college conference on postwar reconstruction were given to Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt and student delegates at the After Victory What conference at Oberlin last weekend. Members were asked to use the resolutions to draft postwar peace plans. they discussed them but did not vote on adoption.

SC Hears First Draft Of New Constitution
The initial draft of the new constitution for Student Council was read during a two hour session yesterday afternoon.
