Blood donors sought for Red Cross drive at university
Applications are being received in the university dispensary for students willing to donate blood for a national Red Cross campaign. Dr. A O DeWeese says volunteers will travel to Ravenna on April 27 or 28 or donate when the mobile unit visits the campus later. Those with recent cold or sinus problems are disqualified. Reopen V-7 Naval Class Opens Enlistments
The V-7 midshipmen training program at the U S Naval Reserve has reopened for college juniors and seniors. Registrar E C Stopher announced that accepted applicants may complete their education before active service. Requirements include authenticated transcripts, three letters of recommendation, a birth certificate, and parental consent if minor. After graduation enlistees enter active duty, then a 30 day training period and appointment as naval reserve midshipmen with annual pay of 780 dollars and daily ration.

Pulse-Rate Tests Planned for Victory Volunteers
Victory Volunteers will undergo pulse-rate recovery tests in room 119 Kent hall today with sessions at 9 11 2 3 and 4 oclock. Notices have been sent to all University women enlist ees or prospective enlistees with instructions. Volunteers should keep a weight graph tracking health progress weekly.
