First All Student Recital To Be Held Tuesday
The first all student recital of the year will be held Tuesday March 16 in the University auditorium at 8 15 p m. English Tests Set For Next Monday
The English department will administer a test on Monday March 15 at 4 p.m. in the Training School auditorium to exempt qualified sophomores elementary teachers and English majors and minors from further English courses. Results will be announced next week.

OWA Begins Fund Drive for Red Cross
Office of War Activities kicks off a Red Cross war fund drive with a $200 goal. Peg Curry and Jane McDowell announce pledge cards will be distributed to campus groups. A table for donations will be in the atrium next week and pledges from off campus groups are welcome Tuesday and Wednesday. Members contributing over $1 receive a Red Cross card. Lowry and Moulton halls led with $25 each.

Guisewite Becomes Blue Key Proxy President
Bill Guisewite former vice president of Blue Key became president Monday night to replace Joe Hart who left for the army. Dick Clark was elected vice president and Russ Hill secretary. Five Acres Given For Victory Gardens
The University offers a five acre plot behind President K. C. Lee’s home for victory gardens. Dr. Charles B. Sumner announced the new plots. Twenty five foot square plots will be allocated by application. Eligible applicants may receive one plot with option for two if growing corn or potatoes.

Treasury drive grows as WSSF donations rise
Lowry and Moulton women pledge over 80 and 60 dollars respectively to the World Student Service Fund from dorm and hall treasuries. Yesterday’s receipts total 26.75, with faculty at 54 and organizations like Y M C A at 32 and Wesley Foundation at 10. Additional pledges come from other groups as students are asked to give one dollar each before the drive closes tomorrow at Wills gymnasium entrance.

Graduation Exercises Set for Senior Reservists
Special commencement exercises are announced for Saturday March 20 to allow senior reservists to graduate before active duty. About sixty seniors will graduate this month. twelve finished in December, with the rest eligible by quarter’s end per Pres. K C Leebrick. A class day March 19 includes convocation at 10 a m and rehearsal at 11. The senior dinner is at Kent's First Methodist church at 7 p m and a dance at Moulton hall at 10 p m. Graduation occurs Saturday at 10 a m after the 9:40 a m procession in Wills gym.
