KSU Civic Orchestra Plans Classic Program
The 63 member KSU Civic Orchestra under temporary director Louis R. Erch will perform Beethoven Symphony No. 1 in C Major and Rimsky Korsakov Scheherazade at 8 15 p m in the university auditorium. Tenor soloist Roland Patzer will sing Bizet Flower Song and Mozart Il mio tesoro from Don Giovanni.

Cleveland Students Invited to Summer Playground Work Meeting

UT Casts Tot's Play The Sleeping Beauty at University Theatre
The Sleeping Beauty will be staged Thursday March 15 and Saturday March 17 directed by Katherine M. Norton with Norma Lou Horne as Beauty and Walt Pierce as the prince. The American Association of University Women backs the Children's theatre production as on the road the week of March 26 to Bath Clinton and Cuyahoga Falls. Vern Roberts plays the king and Joan Leguillon the queen with Sheila Smith and Caroline Arnold as fairies. Cast also includes Peggy Sidley Fred Meltzer Jim Glynn Rosemary Poor Shirley Wolforth and Carol Jacobs. Student and faculty tickets go on sale March 8 in Kent hall for 25 cents. the Saturday matinee starts at 2 p.m. with tickets in Thompson's drug store.

Mid Week Hop Ends In Wills
A student orchestra led by Bud Cutcliff performs the last mid week hop of the quarter in Wills gym from 8 to 10. Sponsored by the dean of men, the dance aims to draw a larger crowd after several weeks of red ink. The Independent Students association hosts folk dancing tonight from 7:30 to 10 p.m. open to all KSU students.

Walter White of the NAACP will speak at 11 a.m. in the auditorium on Lincoln’s Unfinished Business. The Atlanta native and longtime NAACP leader has campaigned for Negro rights and received honors from Howard University and Atlanta University. Barbershop Contest Tonight Puts Focus on Sorority and Fraternity Quartets
Four fraternities and six sororities compete in Alpha Phi Omega Barbershop contest at 7:30 in the Union ballroom. Sorority entrants are Alpha Gamma Delta Alpha Phi Alpha Chi Omega Chi Omega Delta Gamma and Delta Zeta. Fraternity entrants are Sigma Delta Sigma Nu Alpha Phi Beta and Phi Beta Phi. Trophies go to division winners, Ugly Man sponsor gets a trophy, and a key is given to the Ugly Man. Community sing led by Gene Dotson. Admission is free and organizers aim for an annual event.

WSSF Tag Day Drive Aims To Raise 1000 For Abroad Universities
The World Student Relief fund hosts a Tag Day on campus with thirteen collection booths. If each student donates 20 cents, the $1,000 goal can be met. Joanne Kanzaki leads over 50 campus groups guiding the effort with regional chairs and a Greek division.
