Sigma Delta Nominee Wins Cent Vote Contest at Kent event
Joseph Wagner won the Duke of Kent title in a Sigma Delta sponsored contest, receiving $159.18 in one cent votes. Runners up were Jerry Ott and Tom White. total collected was $455.13. Votes ran from March 1 to 6 with penny cost per vote and proceeds to University beautification.

Music programs scheduled on campus in Kent Union
On campus two music programs at the Kent State union at 8 p.m. Thursday feature a student recital with Mozart and Debussy pieces performed by a clarinet and string ensemble. After intermission the Cleveland Little Symphony, directed by Caro Carapetyan, joins the program with 35 players plus the A Capella choir assisting on two numbers.

Deadline notices urge seniors in the college of education to obtain and return teacher certificate applications from the registrar this week. Applications due by March 13 for those finishing this quarter, and by April 5 for seniors finishing in June.

27 Modern Buildings In Gallery

Penny carnival organizers require a $5 deposit from each competing group by Friday March 10. Carnival chair Terry Atkinson announced.
