The event runs through Friday July 2 with emphasis on upper grade high school levels and demonstrations by Mrs. Frederick Davidson. Attendees are limited to 400 due to facilities.

Stater Holiday Schedule Adjusts For July Week
The Stater will publish twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays during the summer session. Because Monday July 5 is a school holiday, publication shifts to Wednesday July 7. News items should be submitted by noon the day before publication.

Library Wins Coveted John Cotton Dana Publicity Prize
The university library won first place for publicity at the 1948 John Cotton Dana Publicity award during the American Library Association conference in Atlantic City New Jersey June 13 19. Prof John B Nicholson and Paul Janaske prepared the winning scrapbook representing 1947 publicity from 23 states plus Alaska and Hawaii.
