Campus Day Brings Parade Fashion and Dance Night
Campus day features a 13.5 hour slate led by a 9 pm Wills gym dance with Chester and his orchestra. May Queen presentation at 11 pm, K Girl Joann Hall, and crown by Harry Moldovan follow a day-long program including a Library painting ritual, Cardinal Key procession, Maypole dance, and a parade of 27 organizations from independent to Greek groups. Senior President Cancels Luncheon and Events
Vince Herst, senior class president, announced that the class luncheon will not be held and that the senior picnic and prom depend on ticket sales. The picnic is planned for Wednesday at Davey Tree Farm beginning 1 p.m., and the prom in the Union ballroom Friday from 9 p.m. to midnight if sales improve with Roland Gamble and his orchestra arranged.
