In a July issue, Dr George Bach associate professor of psychology is featured in a two page five photo study in a psychology clinic. Experiments use an open roof doll house to observe how children relate to the father and world beyond home. A boy removes his father from the scene and later puts him to sleep, signaling neglected training while a girl includes her father in play indicating preparation for external life. Dr Bach began teaching last spring after positions at Cleveland College and Western Reserve university. He hails from Berlin and earned degrees from University of London California and Iowa by 1944.

May Approve Bond Cashing For Veterans
Veterans at Kent State and elsewhere would gain a new option as a house armed services subcommittee approved legislation to let veterans cash terminal leave pay bonds after September 1. Current law requires a five year hold. The bill would allow cashing or conversion to bonds for those still in service, with bonds earning two and a half percent interest annually.

Walden String Quartet Engagement Cancelled at KSU
Cornell's Walden Quartet, scheduled to perform at KSU on August 12, has been cancelled. Dean Frew Musselman says the group is commissioned by the War department to tour European capitals in the occupied zone this summer, including the Salzburg festival, causing the August date to be scrapped with no substitute scheduled.
