United States Senator Robert A Taft will visit the University for the second year in a row to speak at a 10 o clock Thursday morning assembly in the auditorium. Prof Alvin J Miller says the talk will connect students with the Ohio senator and current affairs. All 10 o'clock classes will be excused for the event.

Four Navy Cadet Candidates Head for Detroit Exams
Four University students will travel to Detroit on Wednesday to take Naval Aviation Cadet examinations. If they pass, they will transfer to V-5, the Naval Aviation Cadet training program.
