University Theater To Sponsor Dance With Haynes Orchestra
University Theater plans a formal dance tomorrow night from 9 to 1 in Wills gymnasium with Frank Haynes' five piece orchestra providing music. Arlene Riggle manages preparations as general chair. Tickets are 1.25 a couple, available today or at the door Saturday. Decorations are by Alpha Psi Omega. chaperones include Stump, Holm, Manchester, and Man chester. Guests of honor include President Bowman and Dean Hyatt. Automatic two o'clock permits for University women are provided by the dean of women's office.

Student Council Approves Revised Winter Budgets
The Student Council and joint allocations committee accepted three budget changes after scrutiny. Slashes were agreed for Student Council and Women's League to 60 and 118, while the arts groups were cut to 50. Ethel Day explained funds come from the control account and noted prior minutes had been disapproved for lack of examination. Peg Curry urged thrift to avoid future difficulties.

Claypole Named Head University Dietitian to Succeed Fellers
Miss Jean Claypoole has been chosen head University Dietitian to replace Mrs Elizabeth Fellers whose resignation effective January 1. Claypoole graduated from the University in August 1943 after study at Ohio State where she trained in dietetics and helped plan hospital meals. She taught in Galena Ohio for one year before joining Kent. Mrs Fellers is on vacation in East Orange New Jersey.

British aviator Lt Comdr Wigginton to speak at OWA event
Lt Comdr B F Wigginton of the British Naval Air arm will address an assembly sponsored by the Office of War Activities on Friday January 26 at 2 pm. All classes will be excused. Wigginton served over Norway Dunkirk Madagascar and Yeovilton before becoming a senior naval officer in Brunswick Maine in October 1944.
