The Pan Campus party nominated Bud Gerber and Harriet Shobert for senior and junior Student Council seats. Ethel Day and Don Moore said the pair will face votes at Tuesday's election. Freshman vacancies in Men's Union go to Bob Nippler and Jim Frank.

Gene Beecher and his 10 piece orchestra will perform at the annual Top Hop on Saturday February 17 in Wills Gymnasium following the presentation of No Time For Classes. Penny Drive Boosts Support For Kent Staters Abroad
University students and faculty carry penny boxes to fund sending Kent Staters serving overseas. Each 100 pennies adds a name to the Atrium honor roll. $1 per person sustains mailing Staters weekly at about $40 printing costs and $15 weekly collections. Faculty Recital by School Of Music January 28
The School Of Music will present a faculty recital on January 28 in the auditorium. The program features two sonatas for violin and piano, Beethoven in D major and Grieg in C minor. Osborne, a University of Michigan and Union Theological Seminary graduate, taught at Davidson College. Fink, a graduate of Oberlin College, studied at Michigan and has coached violin with noted instructors. He recently became head of Kent’s instrumental department from St Johnsburg Academy.

The AWYVS unit led by Nancy Beier schedules a week long magazine drive through Jan 27. Sisters from sororities and dorms will solicit pictorial and light fiction magazines, with Miriam Gilchrest overseeing Engleman hall and Betsey Case coordinating the unit.
