SC Orders Re-Vote Picks Cheerleaders
The student council approved a second ballot for junior class student council representative to include Bob White who was omitted from the December ballot. Matilda Davis and Harold Reynolds also appear on the ballot with Davis having won the prior election. Eight varsity cheerleaders were chosen from 23 contestants by council and Booster club panels. Top-Hop on Feb 7 will be semi formal with a $2 charge to fund independent dance finances. The Booster club constitution was approved.

Contestant displays run through late January with voter activity cards needed at the shop. Two representatives per entrant attend an informal party Feb 8 as polls close.

Booster club sales surpassed 500 as drive nears 1000 quota with late returns tabulated. Delta Sigma Phi Kappa Sigma Chi and Beta Gamma achieved 100 percent super booster status. Easy Chair Lecture Cancelled Then Play Night Planned
This week’s Easy Chair lecture is cancelled while the sponsor the personnel deans will host a faculty play night on Monday evenings through the term. Dancing and games run from 8 to 10 p.m. each Monday to give faculty a social meet and mingle opportunity.
Carapetyan To Lead Choir In Broadcast
Caro M. Carapetyan associate professor of music will direct a 15 minute choir recital on this year’s radio workshop program. The performance on WAKER Akron features 41 singers with works by Bach Leisring Tschesnakoff Rachmaninoff Leonov and Bach including The Carol of the Bells and At Thy Feet.

Gammas to Receive Inter-Fraternity Cup Tonight
Gamma Tau Delta will receive the Inter-Fraternity council volleyball trophy tonight between halves of the KSU Mt Union basketball game in Wills gym. Inter-frat president Roy Apple will present the championship award to the Gammas, second group to receive a council trophy. Kappa Sigma Chi won the football title in November.

BC Promises Cheers Band to Kick Off New Era
