RW To Admit Spectators at Kent Hall Radio Workshop

Ann Gray was re elected commander of the Kent Legion of Women Veterans Inc at last night’s officer election. Other officers named were Mrs Sarah Johnson vice commander Ruth Wright secretary Margaret Boyle treasurer and Rachel Thomas public relations officer. The group voted to stay affiliated with the National Legion of Women Veterans Inc Miss Gray recently joined the national board and Miss Thomas will attend a national meeting in New York January 29.

Library To Test Sunday Study Hours At Rockwell
Rockwell library will open 2 to 6 p.m. each Sunday for a month to test demand for regular Sunday hours. Librarian John B. Nicholson Jr. says an average of 400 users would justify making the hours permanent. A November December survey shows peak use during pre exam and quarter changes with a 400 seat capacity hosting up to 1,640 visitors in one day.
