Registrar Expects Small Drop in Kent State Winter Enrollment
Registrar Dr Charles E Atkinson reports 4800 students enrolled by January 4 at Kent State with expected rise to about 5100 before registration closes. Total enrollment will drop about 700 from fall total 5800 as about 400 students leave for graduation finances or other duties. Some 300 more may have failed to report due to enlistments. Prof. Frank E Ballenger announces weekly open pool and gym times in the new Men's Physical Education building. Open pool hours run Monday and Wednesday 7 to 9 pm for men only, and Tuesday Thursday 7 to 9 pm plus weekend 2 to 4 30 pm coed. Wills gym pool welcomes women 4 to 5 39 pm on Monday Wednesday Friday.
