Kent State hosts fifth annual high school day event
About 1,000 visitors from over 400 northeastern Ohio high schools will tour Kent State University this Saturday. Prof Merle Wagoner coordinates a full day starting at noon with registration and concluding after the Muskingum basketball game. Junior and senior invites cap attendance. total caps at 3,000. Cardinal Key Blue Key and YMCA assist as guides and registrants. Examinations for 28 four year fee scholarships alongside 20 general scholarships will occur, with H W Hudson chairing the awarding committee.

University Offers 28 Four Year Scholarships To Seniors
High school seniors on campus Saturday for High School Day may compete for 28 four year scholarships at Ohio State University. Twenty general scholarships waive a 30 dollar fee, plus two specialty awards from the schools of art journalism music and speech. Applicants must be in the top ten percent of their class and top twenty percent on OSU psychology tests.
