University chooses fifty student counselors from campus poll

Dean Manchester drafts fifty junior and senior men to act as counselors for University men. Woody Herman leads first choice with 180 votes, Clinton second with 125 first choices. Final tallies double first-choice votes. several bands receive under 50. The all-University dance is set for January 31 in Wills gymnasium.

Girls Are Well Surveyed But Campus Beats Em All

Kent State students in surveying classes measure campus land noting it as one of Ohio's most surveyed areas. Since 1925 Dean Manchester and Harold Rogers have led about 350 students through plane surveying, with two courses plus a new advanced class next semester.
