Choir To Present UNESCO Concert At May Meeting
The A Cappella choir directed by Prof. Caro M. Carapetyan will perform sacred and secular choral numbers at the UNESCO conference auditorium on May 7. Plans include world distribution of choir music transcriptions as KSUs contribution to UNESCO with selections representing Germany Canada England Spain The Netherlands Russia and Italy. Dr Shepherd Witman and Dr Luther Evans will speak on UNESCO aims and future plans as educational reconstruction and international exchanges are discussed. Students may register for UNESCO work in 1949 with Prof. T. M. H. Blair.

Blue and Gold Elects Officers After Election Victory
At the first post-election meeting the Blue and Gold party named new officers for the coming year. Bill Kalaher will chair, Char Moreland secretary, Lea Bauman corresponding secretary, Mike Fuller treasurer, and Myron Abood social chairman. Moreland and Fuller were reelected. Retiring chairman Bill Fulmer praised the campaign as highly effective and lasting.

Clague to Lecture on Christian Courtships and Marriages
Dr. James Clague of Hiram College will present two Sunday lectures on courtship and marriage at the Christian Church. The first talk titled The Christian Attitude Toward Sex will be followed by The Christian Home. Each program begins with worship at 7 p.m. and a discussion period. Mother's Day guests will join the United Christian Fellowship supper at 6 p.m. prior to the talks.

Many Concerts Feature Music Week Here
KSU school of music plans a week of programs from May 2 to May 8 marking national music week. The opening May 2 concert honors Roy D. Metcalf with the university band. ex-graduates teaching in high schools will conduct. May 4 features the University Civic orchestra with soloists Robert Smith and Raymond DeMattia. May 5 presents the University School Choral and Instrumental concert, and May 8 the Symphonic Band concert.
