Egan to Join Air Reserve Officers Training Corps at Fort Dix
Wesley Egan associate professor of Speech will leave Kent State University to become an instructor in the Air Reserve Officers Training Corps at Fort Dix. He departs Sunday evening and reports to a screening board Monday morning. His assignment is temporary until the board assigns him elsewhere. Egan has been active in UT productions and led the set design for Anne of the Thousand Days in the campus auditorium.

Plans for Arts Festival Include Talks and Puppet Skit
The second annual Arts festival nears week two with a discussion on Jurors of Student Art Exhibit tonight at 8 in 104 Arts Building. Next week's events include eight programs and two exhibits. Monday features a William Schock drawing demonstration at 4 in 104 Arts Building and a German puppet play Hansel and Gretel in the Union Ballroom. A program of one act plays by School of Speech students is set for Tuesday in the Union Ballroom at a p.m. Also Monday opens an exhibit titled Student Art at KSU Today in the Arts Building gallery. A home economics exhibit will be shown in the home economics classrooms on Wednesday.

Singer Schedules Student Concert
Susan Reed, a rising ballad singer, will perform in the auditorium on Wednesday evening May 2 at 8 15 sponsored by the entertainment committee. She plays many instruments including the Irish harp zither and a mountain lute she found in the Smokies and has a coast to coast tour of nearly 100 recitals. Her repertoire includes old country songs and more than 300 traditional tunes many recorded for the Library of Congress.

Boosters To Sell Football Tickets For May Exhibition
Booster Club will sell tickets for the exhibition football game on Thursday evening May 23. KSU will meet Toledo in a return game. Sorority girls will handle sales at the Booster Club booth at 50 cents each. Fraternity men will sell tickets independently. Tickets on sale all next week.

Education Grads Face English Composition Test
Education requires English composition testing for fifth quarter students or those with 64 quarter hours. A satisfactory score is needed to register for junior year. English 200 may be required. Two test sections, 10 to 12 and 1 to 3, with admission slips issued at 106 Merrill.
