Navy Plans Quota Hike Seeks 146000 Enlistments in 14 Months

Sherman told a House Appropriations subcommittee that the Navy projects 81 000 officers and 729 000 enlisted by June 1952, up from 63 400 officers and 600 800 enlisted at month start.
